Agnes Marie Roberts

Agnes "Aggie" Marie Roberts, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully at her home on December 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born on April 14, 1933, in Bristol, Virginia, Aggie lived a life rich with love, laughter, and enduring connections.

Aggie was a beacon of light, known for her radiant smile that touched everyone she met. A true people pleaser, she had the remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued and special. Her warm spirit and kind heart drew people to her, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the honor of knowing her.

In her 63 years of marriage to her loving husband, David Roberts, Aggie built a strong partnership rooted in respect and shared joy. Together, they raised two sons, Britt and Jon, nurturing a bond that extended to their grandchildren, Owen, Lucas, and Goldie. Agnes delighted in spending time with her family and friends, creating lasting memories that will be cherished for generations.

As someone who enjoyed staying active, Aggie often spent her time working out. She believed in the importance of health and wellness not only for herself but also as a gift to her loved ones. Whether it was engaging in lively conversations or sharing in playful activities, Agnes filled her days with moments of joy and connection.

Aggie is also survived by her dear sisters, Elva Vaughan and Billie Galloway, who stood by her side through life's ups and downs. Her loving niece, Marcia Sexton, along with several other cherished nieces and nephews, will also hold her memory close to their hearts, as will the extended family and friends who were fortunate enough to be touched by her kindness.

The family invites all who knew Aggie to join them in celebrating her life. A visitation will be held on December 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Raymer - Kepner in Huntersville, North Carolina. The graveside service will be conducted December 29, 2025, 1:00pm at Mt.View Mausoleum located at 1019 Valley Dr Bristol, VA 24201.

Aggie Marie Roberts, though her presence will be sorely missed, leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and strength that will forever resonate in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be remembered not only for the remarkable woman she was but for the countless ways she brightened the lives of others.
