Angela Jordan Norris

Angela Jordan Norris, 73, of Cornelius, North Carolina passed away on November 19, 2025.

Angela was born in Richmond County, North Carolina on July 30, 1952 to the late Bernie Jordan and Edna Finley Noblett. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Norris.

Angie was a 1970 graduate of Rohanen High School where she was Miss Rohanen High. She graduated from nursing school in 1972 at the top of her class and was also honored to receive the Miss Florence Nightingale award. She worked at Hamlet Hospital for one year then decided to pursue nurse anesthetist schooling in Charlotte where she graduated then worked in this field for 42 years. She retired in 2013 from Carolinas Medical Center. She loved going to Holden Beach with her husband Walter and family. Angie was a wonderful sister, aunt, and friend. She always took care of her family and loved spending time with them on Lake Norman and at the beach.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Abundant Life Church in Rockingham, North Carolina. A celebration of life will follow immediately at 2:00 pm with Dennis Smith officiating.

Angie is survived by her sister, Emily Jordan Graham (Kenny); nephew, Dustin Ammons (Heather); niece, Meagan Ammons Pearson (Mark); great nieces and nephews, Garrett Ammons, Zachary Ammons, Lucas Pearson, Bernie Ammons, Madelynn Pearson, Brooklyn Ammons; bonus mom, Barbara Jordan; bonus sister, Gail O'Neal; and bonus brother, Chris Gibson (Sherry).

Memorial contributions may be made in Angie's memory to  Novant Hospice or Abundant Life Church of Rockingham, North Carolina.
