Angela Rodgers

It is with great sadness that the family of Angela Rodgers announces her passing, after fighting cancer, in June 2020 at the age of 47 years.

Angie was born in Elmira, NY. She graduated from Binghamton University and SUNY Delhi. Angie began her career as a Veterinary Technician. After marrying Doug and moving to Mooresville, NC, she threw her energies into raising their children and performing volunteer work. She had a huge fondness for attending soccer games, cross country/swim meets and chorus/band concerts. Her love for dogs and cats had no limits. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

Angie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 23 years, Doug; her children, Brenna and Quinlan; and her father, Richard (Mary Jean). Angie was predeceased by her mother, Claudia. She will also be fondly remembered by her sister, Jennifer (John); her brother, Jeffrey (Maya); and her nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Out of an abundance of caution during this time, a memorial service in memory of Angie will be held privately by her family.
