Barbara Jo Bonds

Barbara Jo Bonds, 80, of Cornelius passed away August 23, 2020 at Novant Health in Charlotte. 

She was born February 18, 1940 in Charlotte to the late Monroe and Julius Smith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jack H. Phillips, Jr.

Barbara is survived by her husband; Kenneth “Flint” Bonds; daughters, Robin Bonds Phillips (John D’Antona) and Kelly Riddle (Greg); grandchildren, Jordan and Wesley Phillips (Shannon Currin), Meghan Riddle (Dakota Hunter), and Claudia Riddle; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Owen Phillips; sisters, Sylvia Elam (Ed) and Donna Alley (Ron); and her two beloved cats, Josie and Radar.

Barbara enjoyed gardening, camping, drawing, painting, and all things outdoors.  Above all, she loved her family.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, August 28, 2020 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC.
