Beatrice C. Slebioda

Beatrice Celia Slebioda, 87, of Huntersville, NC entered her heavenly home on March 22,2026.

Beatrice was born in Poland, on November 29, 1938, to the late Water and Hattie Polom.

Beatrice as a young girl survived the German concentration camps, with her dad, mom, and sister. They also survived the Holocaust in Poland. Her parents finally left Poland and moved them to Buffalo, NY when Beatrice was 17-18 years old. She loved flowers, plants, birds, purple, and NASCAR. Her favorite hobby was watching television. She loved The Family Feud, Price Is Right, Food Network.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her dear husband, Navy Veteran Edward Slebioda Jr, her lovely sister Barbara Bellacose, Brother in Laws, Paul, Earl, and Marc.

Beatrice is survived in death by her only child, James Slebioda and his wife Crystal. She had two granddaughters, Morgan Gillespie and her husband Josh, and Megan Myers. Lilly and Ella were her great granddaughters that loved her dearly. Ella would call her My BB! Beatrice had the greatest sister in laws, Linda, Sandy, and Laura. Her brother in laws loved her just as much, Rod, Pete, and George.

She had many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She loved each and everyone of them.

A celebration of life will be planned at our home later this year. Anyone that would like to come is more than welcome.

The family would like to thank the nurses and nurse aides at Carolina Caring Hospice and Palliative Care.
