Bertha M. Cox, 89, of Oak Island, North Carolina, passed away on August 21, 2019.
She was born April 17, 1930 to the late Baxter William Crump and Cora Spakes Crump. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Cox; daughter, Patricia Lambert; and grandson, James Cox.
Bertha is survived by her sons, Dennis Cox and wife Loretta, and David Cox; grandchildren, Scotty Benfield, Tina Lambert, Donna Saltz, Daniel Cox, Willie Cox, Waylon Cox, Travis Cox, and Joe Helms; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed cooking and loved her family beyond measure. She was incredibly proud that she lived to see five generations of her family.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am, Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville. A graveside service will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens in Statesville, North Carolina.
