Bobby Eugene Hartis

Bobby Eugene Hartis, 79, of Huntersville, NC passed away on September 29, 2020.

Bobby was born in Union County, NC on September 25, 1941 to the late Lester Hartis and Ella Mae Allen.

Along with his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by brothers, Howard Allen (Lena), Jim Hartis, and Ronnie Hartis; great- granddaughters, Juliet Renate and Oakley Rain; and great-grandson, Joseph Hayward. Following him in death on September 30, 2020 was brother, Wayne Hartis. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Glenda Hartis; daughters, Cynthia Haigler (Roger), Deborah Davis, and Crystal Camp (Michael); grandchildren, Walter Haigler (Shannon), Heather Shafik (Ahmed), Hope Baker, Andrew Hartis, Anderson Davis, Greyson & Ella Grace Camp; and two great-grandchildren, Esther and Elijah.

Bobby was a self-employed brick mason of over 50 years and he loved his profession. Many would say he was the best there was in his day.  He was a very social person and never met a stranger. He truly loved helping others and loved to talk about his health, politics, and the weather. Bobby loved the Lord and is rejoicing in heaven although we will miss him here.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am, Friday, October 2, 2020 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville.  Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the funeral service at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
