Brenda Sharon McKinley

Brenda Sharon Johnson McKinley, born on May 15, 1945, was a cherished soul who left this world on July 18, 2025, after passing peacefully to her heavenly home to be with Jesus. As we remember her vibrant spirit, we are reminded of the love and warmth that she shared with all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.

Brenda was known for her unique and loving essence, a testament to her generous heart. She had a remarkable ability to touch lives, and her absence will be felt deeply by many. Among those who hold precious memories of her are her beloved sister, Donna Morris, who will forever love Brenda, carrying her memory in her heart and sharing the stories of the bond they shared. Brenda also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who were fortunate to bask in the glow of her affection and kindness.

In her leisure time, Brenda found joy in visiting Cherokee, where she loved to play the Blazing 7's. These moments of excitement and play reflected her zest for life—an enjoyment she eagerly shared with family and friends.

Brenda is now reunited with her parents, along with her three sisters and one brother, who have awaited her arrival in their eternal rest. Their reunion is a bittersweet reminder of the familial love that transcends beyond this earthly realm.

As family and friends gather to honor her memory, we will celebrate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. A memorial service will be held on Sunday July 27, 2025, at Raymer - Kepner in Huntersville, NC, beginning at 3:00 PM, followed by a visitation extending from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Brenda Sharon McKinley will be profoundly missed, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts with her love that knows no bounds.
