Carol Sue Sadoff

June 12, 1941 — January 20, 2022

Carol Sue Sadoff, age 80, passed away on January 20, 2022, at 1:33 pm.

Carol was born on June 12, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, to Samuel and Sophie Goldfarb, who preceded her in death.

She retired from a career as a secretary with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. She was happily married to Arnold Sadoff who was the love of her life for 60 years at the time of her passing. Together they resided at the Historical Oaklawn Plantation home, which she was so proud of.

Carol is survived, by her husband, Arnold; daughter, Teri; son, Robert; brother, Joseph and his wife Carolee; son-in-law Raimund; granddaughter, Yasmin; and her sister-in-law, Kathy.

Carol was an adoring wife, a loving mother, and a doting grandmother.  She was blessed with many friends who relished in receiving her heartfelt correspondence. She has possessed culinary skills in the kitchen and accepted any of its challenges.  Her loving nature embraced not only her family, friends, but all her pets as well. She was an avid fishing woman, who often surpassed each family member in the final tally. Carol touched many lives with her generosity and passion for the things she held so dear.

Due to the pandemic, a private memorial service will be held for immediate family members at this time.  A public Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held for family and friends at a later date to be determined.

The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Levine Dickson Hospice, 11900 Vanstory Dr., Huntersville, NC 28078; or Humane Society of Charlotte,  2700 Toomey Ave, Charlotte, NC 28203.
