Carol Jetton Tench

Carol Jean Jetton Tench, 80, of Stanley, North Carolina passed away March 7, 2021.

She was born August 11, 1940 to the late Horace Jetton and Helen Duckworth Jetton.  In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, R. David Tench.

Carol is survived by her son, Tim Tench and wife Rhonda; grandson, Cody Tench and wife Alysha; granddaughter, Kelly Addington and husband Patrick; great-grandsons, Levi, Owen, and Tate; great-granddaughter, Eastyn; brother, Lynn Jetton and wife Jan; brother-in-law, Gary Tench and wife Carol Ann; as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends.

Carol was a lifelong member of Salem United Methodist Church in Denver, North Carolina.  She was retired from Kemper Insurance, and in her retirement, loved going to the beach and spending time with her beach friends. 

Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm-1:30 pm, Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in the Family Life Center at Salem United Methodist Church, Denver.  A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm in the church cemetery.
