Carolyn Jean King

Carolyn Jean King, 77, passed away on November 1, 2019 at her home in Kannapolis, NC. She was born May 26, 1942 in Charlotte NC to the late Baxter and Eva Ellis.

Along with her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her first husband, Max Daryl Norket; step-son, Billy Darrell King, and second husband Billy Edgar King.

Jean is survived by her four children; daughter, Darlene Norket Webb (Danny) of Mooresville; son, Jason King; son Nathan King (Katie) of Charlotte; and step daughter, Angi King; five grand children, Chad, Heather, Tyler, Becky, and Carson; two great grandchildren, Isabella, and Caleb;  and sister, Bettie Bullard.

Jean enjoyed shopping, traveling, gardening, and her beanie babies.

A visitation will be held Monday, November 4, 2019 from 7:00PM until 9:00PM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 11:00AM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery.
