Carolyn Jean Schroepfer

 Carolyn Jean Schroepfer, 79, of Highland Beach, FL passed away on February 25, 2022.

Carol was born in Reedsburg, Wisconsin on October 26, 1942 to the late Arthur Hasz and Emma Roecker Hasz.

Along with her parents Carol is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Gary Schroepfer.

She is survived by her children Lisa Thomas, Jeffry Schroepfer, Michael Schroepfer; their spouses David Thomas, Cathy Schroepfer, Erin Hoffmann; grandchildren Alexander Schroepfer, Kendall Thomas, Zachary Schroepfer, Luke Thomas, Nora Schroepfer, Isaac Schroepfer; and sisters Lavonne Doro, Shirley Wait, and Shelby Schmidt.

A family celebration of her life will be held at a future date.

Carol was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose family meant everything to her.  She was caring, smart, funny, and quick-witted. Carol grew up in Reedsburg, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin. She had many professions including starting and running a volunteer ambulance corps, owning and managing a radio station with her husband, and being an admission counselor for a law school. She was an avid card player; winning many bridge and poker tournaments. Her family was her pride and joy and she was happiest surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Her favorite memories were the family trips filled with laughter and love.
