Carrie Joan Cashion Knox

Carrie Joan Cashion Knox, 86 of Denver, NC passed away on March 25, 2021 at Cardinal Health and Rehabilitation in Lincolnton, NC.

Joan was born in Mecklenburg county on April 15, 1934 to the late Arney Davidson Cashion and Fannie Leah Neil Cashion.  Along with her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her husband Max Smith Knox; her oldest daughter, Kimberly Ann Knox; her brother, Robert J. (Bub) Cashion; and her sister, Frances Cashion Rudisill.

She is survived by her daughter, Leah Knox Murdoch; son, Jeffrey Carlton Knox; and grandsons, Graham Patrick Murdoch and Maxwell Joseph Murdoch.

Joan was a secretary, a housewife, and mother. She was an excellent seamstress and loved to cook and travel.

A funeral service will be held at Unity Presbyterian Church, 8210 Unity Church Road, Denver, NC 28037 at 11:00AM on Monday, March 29, 2021.
