Charles Jeffrey Burns

Charles Jeffrey Burns 58, of Charlotte, NC passed away on January 3^rd 2022.

“Jeff” was born on April 4^th 1963 in Raleigh, NC to the late Ellen Sears Burns and Charles Laxton Burns. He is preceded in death by his parents.  Jeff grew up in Easley, SC where he attended and graduated from Easley Christian School and also Furman University in Greenville, SC. He was employed by Wells Fargo Bank and worked as a system analyst. Jeff was an author of two books in the Foggy Point Light Trilogy series (Volume 1 Foggy Point Light and Volume 2 Ripples: Return to Foggy Point Light). Jeff loved spending time with his family and traveling.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Julia Medlin Burns and their son, Thomas Jeffrey (TJ) Burns.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.   

The service will be viewable in this obituary on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11:50am.
