Christopher Mario Scotto

Christopher Mario Scotto, 78, of Cornelius, NC passed away at Novant Health Hospital in Huntersville, NC surrounded by his family on September 1, 2026.

Chris was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1948 to the late Anthony and Louise (Romano) Scotto.  He graduated from Teaneck High School, Seaton Hall University, and served in the National Guard.

Chris had a flair for the dramatic and enjoyed theater and music.  He spent his career as a Financial Advisor and was featured in both Time Magazine and the Wall Street Journal.  After moving to North Carolina, he became a Real Estate Broker with EXP Realty.

Chris is survived by his wife Jennifer; his children, Christopher (Kelly), Justin (Stephanie), Kristin, and Tanya; his grandchildren, Brianna, Hailey (Matthew), Gavin, Preston, Isabella, Jaxson, Brynn, and Brooklyn; his brother, Anthony (Richard); and Morris, the orange tabby cat.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 11:00 am at Saint Mark Catholic Church (14740 Stumptown Rd, Huntersville, NC).  Memorial donations can be made to the Charlotte Humane Society.
