Clifford George Owens, lovingly known as Cliff, was a remarkable individual whose life touched the hearts of many. Born on April 29, 1971, in Landover, Maryland, he brought joy and laughter wherever he went. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cliff on August 22, 2023, in Huntersville, North Carolina.
Cliff led a fulfilling career in the medical field. He cherished his work immensely because it allowed him to make a difference in the lives of others. The compassion he showed towards his patients was truly commendable. Whether it was comforting them during trying times or working tirelessly to find solutions, Cliff's dedication was unwavering.
Beyond his professional life, Cliff was known for his incredible sense of humor and unwavering positivity. He had the remarkable ability to bring a smile to anyone's face, even during the darkest moments. His uplifting spirit brought light into the lives of those around him.
When Cliff wasn't brightening people's days at work, he could often be found enjoying his favorite hobbies and interests. The beach held a special place in Cliff's heart; he would spend countless hours lounging under the sun and immersing himself in the calming waves. Music was another passion that fueled his soul; he could always be found humming along to his favorite tunes. But above all, spending quality time with friends brought him immense joy.
Cliff's selflessness extended beyond his profession and hobbies. He proudly served in the United States Army for four years, two years stationed in Germany. His time in service exemplified his commitment to serving something greater than himself.
Cliff will forever be remembered for his larger-than-life presence and contagious laughter. His passing leaves an unimaginable void in the lives of those who loved him dearly.
He is survived by his father George Owens, sister Kim Lewis & her husband Pete, stepfather Larry Persell, and niece Abigail Lewis. Cliff's family meant the world to him, and he cherished their love and support throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his mother Jean Carol Persell and grandparents Eddie and Helen Lightbown.

Cliff's remarkable journey on this earth may have concluded, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May we find solace in the memories we shared with him and continue to carry his warmth, love, and laughter wherever we go.
