Craig Philip Stuart of Huntersville, NC (formerly of Sterling, MA) passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the age of 87 years old. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
Craig was born on July 4, 1934 in Sterling, MA to the late Georgianna Jane (Espie) and Philip S. Stuart. A Leominster High School graduate in 1952, Craig entered the workforce as a mechanic and later joined the U.S. Army as an Automotive Repairman. Upon his revert to the National Guard; he worked for Chestnut Hill Motor Company in Lancaster, MA, before retiring after 27 years from New England Power Service Co.
Craig married his girl and the love of his life, Sandra J. Holder, in 1958. They lived in Sterling where they raised their 3 sons, Mark, John, and Douglas. He is survived by his sons Mark, John and his wife Julie Stuart, Doug and his wife Heather Stuart; his grandchildren Taryn, Holly, Tanner, and Hope; his great-grandson, Richie; sister, Nancy Sahrbeck; nieces, nephews, and many dear and loyal friends. Along with his parents, Craig is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra and daughter-in-law, Debbie Stuart.
Craig had a wicked sense of humor that always had everyone laughing. He loved all things automotive and could often be found tinkering around his garage or in the yard. Craig loved to travel with his friends and family, collecting coins, and walking his dog, Mia.

A memorial service will be held on September 4, 2021 at 10:00AM at First Church in Sterling located at 6 Meetinghouse Hill Road, Sterling, MA 01564. Interment will follow the service at Hillside Cemetery located at 25 Clinton Road, Sterling, MA 01564.
