Darlene Sue Radeschi

May 30, 1947 — February 9, 2024

Denver

Darlene Sue Radeschi, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and talented artist, passed away peacefully on February 9th, 2024 in Denver, NC. She was born on May 30th, 1947 in Yonkers, NY to the late Chester Arthur Pierce and Irene Pierce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Christopher Radeschi, Sr.

Darlene was known for her exceptional hospitality and devotion to her family. Her passion for cooking made gatherings with family and friends an extra special experience for everyone that attended. The kitchen was Darlene’s happy place.

In addition to being an exceptional cook, Darlene possessed natural artistic talent. She was an avid painter and produced dozens of works, often inspired by fashion and landscape photography. In recent years, Darlene found joy in painting themed birdhouses that were expertly crafted by her beloved husband. Aside from her and her husband’s success in Real Estate, her creative passion drove her to create a small-business for the birdhouses called “Feathered Creations”.

One of Darlene's greatest joys in life was traveling with her husband, family, and friends on Caribbean cruises. Darlene and her husband Lloyd formed many life-long relationships with local businesses during their travels, notably the people they considered family at “Imperial Dynasty Jewelers” in Saint Thomas, USVI.

Darlene's kind heart extended beyond her immediate family to include her cherished feline companions, the late Bailey "Pooze” and the late Tip Top.  Their companionship brought joy into her and her husband’s lives. Darlene painted many captivating portraits of “The Pooze” and “Tip Top” that her family will cherish forever.

She will be deeply missed by her children Stacey Fregosi (John), and Kim Hatfield; step children, Corrie Menzer, L. Christopher Radeschi Jr., Keith Radeschi, and Aimee Radeschi. Her grandchildren, Johnny Fregosi, Madison Fregosi, Angelina Radeschi, Nico Radeschi, Tyler Hatfield, Noah Hatfield, and Chase Hatfield were a constant source of pride and joy for Darlene. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Finley Hatfield and Piper Hatfield.

In this time of grieving, let us remember Darlene for the incredibly strong woman she was. Her love for her family was unwavering, and her creative spirit continues to inspire all those who had the honor of crossing paths with her.

May she rest in eternal peace knowing that her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones.
