David Vernon Brown

David Vernon Brown, 55, of Huntersville, NC passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at his residence after an extended illness. Born April 12, 1955 in Mecklenburg County he was the son of Dorothy Honeycutt Brown of Huntersville and the late William Vernon Brown. David was a member of Gilead ARP Church where he served as a deacon. He was previously employed at Cross Motor Company, Peterbilt and Richardson Grading Co. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 20 at Gilead ARP Church with Rev. Robert Hunter officiating assisted by Dr. Bill Cain. Burial will follow at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Raymer Funeral Home. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Dorothy, sister, Janice B. Roberts and husband Tom of Huntersville, grandchild, Ethan Nichols, nephew, Todd (Amber) Roberts , niece, Kerri (Stuart) Poe, great nephews, Braxton Poe, Blake Poe, Will Roberts, great niece, Emily Roberts and beloved dog Rufus.
