David Keith Jackson

David Keith Jackson, 77, of Huntersville, NC passed away at 4:33am on June 12, 2025.

Keith was born in Valdese, NC on June 30, 1947 to the late Max Jesse Jackson and Marie Sprouse Jackson.

Keith was a jack-of-all-trades. He worked as a dye manufacturer, electronic technician, mason, builder, truck driver, mechanic, landscaper, retail salesman, and more besides. More importantly, he was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and friend to many. He loved to work with his hands, tell stories, fix anything, watch wildlife, and, most of all, spend time with his family.

Along with his parents, Keith is preceded in passing by his brothers Donald Jackson, and Harry Jackson; sister Peggy Jackson; and his son, Max Jackson. Keith is survived by his wife, Katherine Jackson; brother, John Jackson; sister, Linda Panther and children, Brian Jackson, Shawnte Wyrick, Adam Jackson, and Trevor Jackson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 22, 2025 from 1:00 - 3:00pm at Hopewell Presbyterian Church, Huntersville, NC. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that friends and relatives send any photos and stories they have of Keith to dkjackson4725@gmail.com. These will be used to create a memory-book for the family to best remember a life that has touched so many. If possible, including an approximate date and location of your contribution will help immensely. Guests are also welcome to bring photos with them to Keith’s Celebration of Life, and there will be materials provided there to write any additional memories in-person.
