Dennis Leonard Palmer

Dennis Leonard Palmer, 77, passed away on November 2, 2019 in Huntersville, NC. He was born on September 10, 1942 to the late Leonard and Lorraine Palmer.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Palmer and sister, Donna Gibbs.

Dennis is survived by his son, Michael Palmer (Susan) of Huntersville, NC; daughter Tracy Wiese (Steven) of Lake Wylie, SC; daughter, Kelly Beats (Chuck) of Ft. Mill, SC; grandchildren, Lindsay, Shayna (Alex), Mackennan, and Kamaren; and great grandchildren Jax and Brody. Dennis is also survived by his step-children, Lisa Rosenbaum (Dewayne), Sonya McGee (Joey), Angie Scavone (Pete);step-grandchildren, Zach (Stacy), Paul (Courtney), Ashlyn, Claire, Mason, Jared; and step-great-grandchildren, Lane, Brooke, and Summer.

Dennis served his country in the U.S. Army and worked for the NYS Corrections Department for 25 years.  He loved his family, motorcycles, boats, firearms, and his dogs, Jackie and Allie.

A memorial service will be held at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home located at 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078 on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 10:30am.
