Diane Clausius Bowden, 79, of Huntersville, NC passed away peacefully on July 18, 2016. She was born September 28, 1936 in Buffalo, NY to the late Daniel Clausius and Louise Akroyd.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hayward Bowden, Sr and her brother George Clausius.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Donald) Miller of Concord; son, Clarence Bowden Jr of Huntersville; grandson, Kevin (Katie) Miller of Vale, NC; granddaughter, Kelly (Thomas) Hutchinson of Pensacola, FL; grandson, Matthew (Rebekah) Bowden of Charlotte; Diane had 5 great-grandchildren and 2 more on the way.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11:00 am at Messiah United Methodist Church located at 4102 Hwy 27, Vale, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Levine Children’s Hospital, 1000 Blythe Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28203.
