Dianne Pauline Raymer, 77, beloved wife of the late Richard T. Raymer, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 29, 2023, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.

Dianne was born in Kannapolis, NC, and was the daughter of the late William Gaddy, III and Pauline Gaddy.

Dianne was a kind and gentle soul, known for her unwavering faith and devotion to her Baptist Christian beliefs. She had a profound love for her Lord and cherished her family above all else. Dianne’s simple pleasures in life included sipping a cold Coca Cola, a testament to her appreciation for life’s small joys.

She was a woman of incredible faith and strong family values, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Dianne was not only a wonderful wife but also a loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. Her greatest happiness came from the precious moments spent with her children and grandchildren.

Dianne was deeply loved and will be missed beyond compare, but her love and legacy will forever reside in the hearts of her loved ones.

Diane is survived by a son, Ryan Raymer (Sarah); daughter, April Tooker (Sam); grandchildren, Hobbes Tooker, Dylan Tooker, Twain Tooker, Jack Raymer, Pace Raymer, and Mattie Raymer; brother, William R. Gaddy, IV; and sister, Sundra Wills.

In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Dianne was preceded in death by a sister, Eveonne Gaddy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville. A private inurnment will follow.
