Edith Hobart Cashion

  Edith Hobart Cashion, 91, of Davidson passed away February 22, 2022 in Denver, NC.  She was born in Charlotte, NC on February 1, 1931 to the late Frank Donald and Helen Hobart.  She was a member of Davidson College Presbyterian Church, Davidson Garden Club, Davidson Book club and several ladies Bridge Clubs.  She also volunteered at The Pines in Davidson. 

Edith was very fond of spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed entertaining and socializing with her many friends and loved her numerous pets throughout the years.

She is survived by her son; Robert Douglas Cashion and daughter-in-law Deanna Carpenter Cashion, grandson; Robert Titus Cashion, brother and John D. Hobart and spouse Frances A. Hobart of Smithfield, NC.

In addition to her parents, Edith is preceded in death by her husband Robert June Cashion.  

A visitation will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral in Huntersville. A graveside service will be held immediately following the visitation at Mimosa Cemetery in Davidson, NC.
