Edward Michael Uffelman

Edward Michael Uffelman, 54, of Cornelius, NC died Saturday January 1, 2010 at Presbyterian Hospital. Born August 15, 1956 he was the son of the late Mr & Mrs. Nelson Charles Uffelman. Ed was an avid golfer and employed as a policeman in California prior to becoming a pilot with US Air. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Tuesday January 4 at Grace Covenant Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 to 7:00. Burial will be at a later date in Youngstown, Ohio. He is survived by his brother, Daniel Dan Huey and wife, Jodie of Cornelius, NC., daughter, Michelle Uffelman of Los Angeles Ca., one granddaughter and numerous friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace Covenant Church, 17301 Statesville Road, Cornelius, NC 28031.
