Elizabeth Ann Vincent-Knight

October 16, 1950 — October 10, 2022

Mrs. Elizabeth Vincent-Knight, age 71, passed away on October 10, 2022.

Elizabeth was born in London, England to William Betts and Jean Taylor, but relocated to Florida when she was three years old and spent most of her life in Miami and Tampa. Elizabeth had a rich and full life dedicated to her children, Sean Vincent of Huntersville, NC, and Sheila Zupo of Land O' Lakes, FL, and grandchildren, Samuel, Abigail, and Ysabel. She was an incredibly kind and loving person who made positive impacts on those who were blessed to be in her life.

Elizabeth loved to travel, especially cruising, and made many happy memories with her late husband, Allen Knight, and wonderful friends and family sailing to beautiful destinations in the Caribbean. Listening to island music always brought a smile to her face. She especially loved Thanksgiving and Christmas and was always her happiest surrounded by family around a holiday meal. While the past five years brought significant medical challenges to Elizabeth's life, she never lost her ability to find joy in the simple things and bring an incredible amount of love to those in her life.

Elizabeth is survived by her son, Sean Vincent and his wife, Jenny Vincent, and their children, Samuel and Abigail, and her daughter, Sheila Zupo, and her husband, Anthony Zupo, and their children, Ysabel, Anthony, and Austin.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Knight, her mother, Jean Nemec Murphy, her father, Billy Betts, her uncle, Phil Weck, and her father-in-law, John Murphy.

A private service will be held on October 22, 2022 at 11am at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, North Carolina.

The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to American Stroke Association.
