Elvira Porto

Elvira “Bonnie” Porto, 77 of Huntersville, NC passed away on December 11, 2021. Bonnie was born in Port Chester, NY on August 2, 1944 to the late Vito and Mary Lovallo.

Bonnie was a talented hairdresser by trade however her greatest love and enjoyment was her husband and family. Over 50 years of a beautiful marriage, a love like no other. Bonnie passed her warmth onto anyone lucky enough meet her and to simply be blessed by her smile.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by two of her brothers Canio and Anthony Lovallo. She is survived by her third brother Pat Lovallo.

She is also survived by her husband Robert Porto Jr., and her children Robert Porto III and Amy Gray, along with their spouses Alexandra Porto and Robert Gray and grandchildren Olivia Porto, Matthew Porto, Marissa “Bonnie” Gray, and Anthony Gray.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 17 at 4:00 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends starting at 3:30 prior to service and invite you to stay for a reception immediately following the service.
