Francis Joseph Vassallo

Francis Joseph Vassallo, 78, passed away on October 6, 2021. He was born to the late Francis and Theresa Vassallo in Brooklyn, NY on October 9, 1942.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Angelina Vassallo; son, Francis (Casey) Vassallo of Mooresville, NC; son, Christopher Vassallo of Kannapolis, NC; daughter, Lisa Murdock of Huntersville, NC; daughter Kimberly (Patrick) Vassallo-Murphy ; brother, Robert Vassallo; grandchildren, Ashley Murdock, Scott Murdock, Amanda Vassallo, Bradley Vassallo, Gavin Murphy, and Makenna Murphy; and several nieces and nephews.

Frank enjoyed country music and NASCAR. He served his country in the US Navy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home located at 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC. A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Salisbury National Cemetery located at 501 Statesville Boulevard, Salisbury, NC.
