Frank Wortham

Frank Wortham, 75, of Cornelius, NC passed away on March 29th, 2024.

Frank was born in New York City on January 2nd, 1949 to the late Frank and Mary Wortham.

Frank was a retired concrete truck driver for Yardville Supply, located in New Jersey, where he was a dedicated Teamsters Local Union No. 469 Steward. After his retirement from Yardville Frank decided to move to North Carolina to be close to his brother and family. Frank wanted to work again, so he hired on with a local cement company and worked for few years then retired again. He always loved driving and being in those large heavy duty commercial vehicles, i.e., dump trucks, concrete trucks, etc. Frank lived in Meck County for at least 15 years before his passing. He loved music, shot gun target practice and was an avid fisherman. During those years here in NC Frank was raised a Master Mason, his Lodge was Acacia #32 in Chester, South Carolina where he was the Junior Deacon. Frank also enjoyed volunteering at Angel's & Sparrows. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at  www.angelsandsparrows.org .

Frank is survived by his brother Enzio Powell and his Sister-in-Law Kathy Powell and their two sons.

Since Frank was a very private person there will be no funeral or memorial service.  His Masonic brothers may gather at a later date to celebrate his life.

There will be no Interment/Entombment, his ashes will be dispersed at two of his favorite fishing sites.
