Geneva Jean Ball Hess

Mrs. Geneva Jean Ball Hess, 71 of Stanley, NC died Sunday May 22, 2011 at her residence. Born March 3, 1940 in Russell County Virginia she was a daughter of the late Reese Ball and Rachel Patrick Ball. She retired from IBM as a parts specialist. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday May 27 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Felts officiating. Burial will follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Luther Allen Hess; daughters, Cassandra Hess Freeman and husband Glenn, Teresa Hess Medlin and husband Danny, Pamela Hess Duncan and husband Jack; brothers, Billy Ball and Jack Ball and wife Hazel; grandchildren, Timothy Freeman, Christopher Medlin, Scott Freeman, Bridgett Duncan, Brittiany Freeman, Joseph Medlin, Melissa Medlin, Jessica Duncan, Cailyn Duncan; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Medlin and Sebastian Freeman.
