George Robert Walter

George "Blue" Robert Walter, 69 of Cornelius, NC died Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at his residence. Born November 29, 1942 in Baton Rouge Louisiana he was a son of the late George Pierce Walter and Alice Katherine Boyd Walter. "Blue" was a US Army veteran and retired computer technician. A celebration of his life will be conducted at the pool of the Marina Shores Apartments in Cornelius, NC on Saturday June 2, 2012, 12:00 to 5:00 pm Volley Ball Tournament Benefit (all proceeds will go to Mary Walter), 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Pool Party. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 33 wonderful happy years, Mary Angela McIntyer Walter; sons, Scott and Todd Walter; daughters, Wendy Dahlberg, Kimberly Walter, Angela Figueiredo, Elizabeth Walter, Melissa Janelle, Jennifer Walter and eleven grandchildren.
