George Wood

George Robert Wood, 67 Of Huntersville , NC passed away on June 9, 2023.  George was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on January 22, 1956 to the late James and Cecelia Wood.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Kathleen Wood; sister, Cecelia Young; and several family and loved ones in Scotland.

George was a European Coach Driver where he met his wife Michelle and then came to the US in 2004. He loved sports, in particular, the Hearts.  He was an avid golfer, and loved by all he met.

Services will be privately held by the family.
