Grace Viruso

Grace C. Viruso, 80, of Concord, NC passed away November 13, 2020. Grace was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 29, 1939 to the late Rosario Melito and Grace Bongiorno.

Along with her parents, Grace is preceded in death by her brother, Carmine Melito and sister, Sadie Farrant.

She is survived by her daughter, Gina Viruso Kitts and son-in-law, Russell Kitts; son, Michael Viruso and daughter-in-law, Kris Viruso; four grandchildren, Tony, Alex, Ryan, and Jason; and great grandchildren, Isabella and AJ.

Grace grew up on Long Island as the youngest of the family. She worked as a bank teller for over 30 years. When she retired from Citibank, she moved to Concord, NC. Grace enjoyed spending time with family and close friends.

A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at St. Marks Catholic Church at 11:00am. Internment will follow the service at Mt. Zion UMC Community Cemetery.
