Heather Len Sherrill Canipe,51, of Huntersville, NC passed away peacefully on August 25, 2023 at the Toni & Trish Hospice House in Auburn, Michigan with family by her side. Heather was born in Mecklenburg County on January 6th, 1972 to Michael and Linda Sherrill.
She is preceded in death by Grandparents: Robert and Mae Blakely, B.S. and Helen Ervin Sherrill.
Heather was a native of Huntersville and a graduate of North Mecklenburg High School. She loved her family and her animals, especially Rocko. She enjoyed being outdoors, spending time on the lake and she never met a beach she did not like.
She is survived by one daughter, Taylor Canipe Horne (Cameron); her parents, Mike and Linda Sherrill; her brother, Robert S. Sherrill (Shawna) and nieces, Hunter and Blakely; and numerous cousins and extended family.
A memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 10th, 2023 at 3:00pm at Mt Zion United Methodist Church, Cornelius NC. The family will receive friends in the family life center immediately following the service. Heather will be laid to rest privately with the family.
