James "Jim" Louis Furlow

December 3, 1968 — June 14, 2023

James L. Furlow (Jim) of Mooresville, North Carolina, passed away on June 14, 2023.

Jim was born in Centerville, Ohio on December 3, 1968.

He then spent the next 10 years in the Army National Guard  as a Helicopter Crew Chief/Master Gunner. He served his country proudly for 20 years.

He loved boating, fishing and lived his life on the lake or ocean. He was an excellent captain and navigator.

He also had a love for anything aviation.  Jim worked as a Project Engineer in the paper and packaging industry where he enjoyed helping others.

Jim is survived by his wife, Regina Furlow (Gina), whom he loved and adored; his children whom he was very proud of, his son, Preston Furlow of Centerville, OH, and two stepchildren, daughter, Delaney Stoltz of Mooresville, NC, and son, Christian Stoltz of Winston-Salem, NC; sister, Kathryn Furlow Albers of Cincinnati, OH; and nephew, Wyatt E. Albers of Cincinnati OH. Jim has too many friends to mention by name, and a slew of military brothers and sisters that will all miss him dearly.
