James McCallum

James Harold McCallum, 89, passed away on March 18, 2020 in Charlotte, NC. A native of Charlotte, he was born February 8, 1931 to the late Hubert and Pauline McCallum.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Evelyn McCallum; brother Hubert, and sister Marion Heath.

He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Pinkard; and brothers Glenn (Butch) McCallum, William McCallum, and David McCallum.

Jim was a longtime member of Midwood Baptist Church and served as a deacon there.  He was an Army veteran, served in the Korean War, and enjoyed a career in the construction industry.  

A graveside service will be held at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery in Cornelius, NC on Monday, March 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
