James C. Simpson

April 15, 1969 — September 27, 2021

James Christian “Chris” Simpson, 52, went home to meet his Lord and savior on Monday September 27, 2021.

April 15,1969 he was born in Charlotte, NC to the late James “Dick” Simpson and Betty “BJ” Simpson.

Chris was a truck driver and a heavy equipment operator at CBC Stone where he worked the last 10 years. He was a member of Finish Line Christian Center. Chris was a hard working family man who enjoyed driving his “big truck”, riding motorcycles with his brother and son in law, and spending time with his wife, and family. He enjoyed everything fast and loud, and believed in living everyday with no regrets. He never met a stranger, knowing Chris was loving him.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Dorita Simpson, brother Jason Simpson (Melissa), children Carresa Huneycutt (Jeremy), Avery Simpson, Caleb Tarlton (Kazuno), Roman Miller, grandchildren Alexis, Zepplyn, Riki, Ren, and so many family and friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Raymer- Kepner Funeral Home 16901 Old Statesville Rd. Huntersville, NC 28078. The service is to follow immediately after visitation in the chapel at the funeral home.

Following the service he will be laid to rest at Northlake Memorial Gardens in Huntersville, NC.
