Jane Crutchfield Garrison

Jane Crutchfield Garrison, 76 of Davidson, NC died January 28th, 2021 at The Pines of Davidson, NC.  Family visitation at 1:00PM will be followed by a 2:00PM  memorial service on February 6^th, 2021 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home - 16901 Old Statesville Road in Huntersville, NC. 

Ms. Garrison was born June 10^th, 1944 in Dearborn, Michigan to Ed and Katherine Crutchfield.  Jane was an accomplished poet, compassionate volunteer, world traveler beloved mother and sister known for her deep sense of humor and passion for discovering the beautiful places and experiences of the world.  In her early life she worked in the airline industry, traveling extensively in Europe, Asia, South America and North America and arranging adventures for others throughout the world.  She also wrote and published poetry about her childhood in Albemarle, NC as well as her experiences as a mother and a wife.  She was an enthusiastic volunteer organizing musical events for nursing homes and elder care facilities.

Jane was often in residence at her beach home in Oak Island NC, where she shared her love of the ocean with friends and guests.  In her older years she retired to her house in Davidson, NC yet still travelled to spend time with her children, grandchildren and other loved ones until her final years.

She is survived by her sons Cameron Crutchfield Duncan of Coventry, RI, Chandler Sikes Duncan of Huntersville, NC and Mary Katherine Duncan of Concord, NC.  Condolences may be sent to 14030 Harvington Dr., Huntersville, NC 28078.
