Janet Cederlind Willis

July 19, 1951 — September 9, 2021

Janet Lynn (Cederlind) Willis, 70, of Huntersville, NC, passed away on Thursday September 9, 2021.

Jan was born in Burbank, CA, on July 19, 1951, to the late Delmar Cederlind and Margaret Westerlund. Along with her parents, Jan is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steven Clark Willis. She is survived by her only daughter, Barbara Ann Wright.

Jan had a close relationship with the Lord, and despite her handicaps, she enjoyed fellowship and volunteering with her church family at Grace Covenant Church in Cornelius, NC. She also had a passion for crocheting, quilting, and sewing. She loved to read and cook and had a large collection of cookbooks to experiment with. One of her greatest loves was all things cat-related, and she was much adored by her three cats: Sebastian, Malibu, and Soju.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 11am. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, face masks will be required for the memorial.

Memorial Donations may be made to The Colon Cancer Coalition or Fight Colorectal Cancer (Fight CRC). Jan’s positive and prayer-filled attitude helped her beat her cancer odds by almost two years.
