Jason Herring

Robert "Jason" Herring was 40 yrs old when he went home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2020.
He was born in Jasper, Texas to Jana Comer of Jasper and Roger Herring. Jason moved to NC in 1984 and gained Daddy Cline who became his best buddy and father for 34 years. He also gained two brothers, Craig and Joseph, whom he adored.
Jason loved each member of his family immensely. Even if he hadn’t seen them in years, he treasured everyone in his heart and never forgot them by talking about them all the time! He looked forward to seeing those he loved and what birthday we were celebrating next!
The thrills of his life along with riding the Amtrak are motorcycles, music, spelling, computers, videos, sports, eating and bowling. He became a whiz at things we never knew, he could. His life long dream would likely be either a a conductor on a train or a greeter at Walmart waving to every single person to make sure he gave them some "happy juice" and make them smile.
His light of love and humor and sheer joy for living will be missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
For those who are unable to attend, the service will be streamed on the funeral homes Facebook page.
