Jefferson Lee Wilson, Jr.

Jefferson Lee Wilson Jr., 64, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away at home on January 19, 2026.

Born in Jasper, Texas, on October 4, 1961, Jeff was the son of the late Jefferson Wilson Sr. and Evelyn Wilson.

Jeff held his family dear and had a unique way of showing it, often teasing those closest to him. If he gave you a hard time, it was his way of showing affection. In his younger years, Jeff was a two-sport athlete, playing both football and baseball. He was also a passionate and avid reader, often losing himself in the books he read.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jana Comer.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Cindy Wilson; his son, Josh Wilson; his daughter, Ashley Mulligan; and his sister, Jackie Campbell.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday April 18, 2026 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville.
