Jeffry Hughes Hall

April 17, 1954 — October 15, 2025

Denver

Jeffry Hughes Hall, 71, of Denver, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on October 15th, 2025.

Born on April 17, 1954, in Charleston, West Virginia, Jeff was the son of the late Maynard Edwin Hall and Betty Hughes Hall of St. Albans.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Deborah Lancianese Hall; his cherished daughters, Dr. Meghan Elizabeth Hall and Jessica Morgan Hall (Austin Haney);  and his brother, Philip Hall (Shirley).

Though Jeff and Debbie made their home in Denver in 2022, they were longtime residents of Charleston, where they built a beautiful life together and raised their daughters. Jeff was a respected member of the Charleston community, practicing law for more than 30 years with integrity, compassion, and a quick wit that endeared him to colleagues and clients alike.

Outside of his professional life, Jeff’s greatest joy was simply being with his family and his dogs. He loved spending time outdoors, whether working in the yard, exploring new trails, or walking his beloved spaniels along Charleston’s Carriage Trail, where he was known for his warm smile and easy conversation.

Those who knew Jeff will remember his kindness, humor, and genuine love of life. His presence made every room brighter, every story better, and every friendship deeper.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeff’s memory to Boykin Spaniel Rescue or HospiceCare WV.

Celebrations of Jeff’s life will be held in Denver, North Carolina and Charleston, West Virginia at a later date, when family and friends can gather to share memories and honor the extraordinary life he lived.
