Jennie Corba

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennie Corba, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend. Born on October 9th, 1924 in the vibrant city of Brooklyn, NY, she touched the lives of all those fortunate enough to know her. On September 26th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and friends, Jennie peacefully left this world.

Jennie was a woman of extraordinary talent and passion. Her skill as a seamstress was renowned throughout the community. With nimble fingers and an eye for detail, she crafted garments that were not only functional but also works of art. Her dedication to her craft was evident in every stitch she made. Over the years, many sought after her expertise and entrusted their most treasured items to her skilled hands.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jennie's true essence shone through in her warm personality and generous heart. She epitomized love and kindness, embracing everyone she encountered with open arms. Her selflessness knew no bounds, especially when it came to her family. Jennie showered them with unwavering devotion and support. A pillar of strength during both joyous rapture and challenging times, she left an indelible mark on their lives.

Jennie had a profound impact on those around her. The memories of her sweet nature and gentle spirit will forever be etched in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. It seemed that everyone she met instantly became captivated by her infectious smile and genuine interest in their well-being.

In moments of solitude, Jennie found solace in the pages of books and puzzles that challenged her mind. She cherished these quiet moments where she could explore new worlds within the pages or unravel intricate puzzles piece by piece. Cooking was another one of Jennie's passions; nothing brought her more joy than preparing delicious meals for her beloved family.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be cherished for generations to come. Jennie is preceded in death by her devoted husband, John Corba, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Her immense love also extended to her three brothers and two sisters, who preceded her in death and and her surviving brother Salvatore whom she adored dearly. She was a pillar of support and a beacon of love for her surviving family, including her son Robert Corba and daughter-in-law Marie, as well as her son Joseph Corba. 

As we bid our farewells to Jennie Corba, let us remember the joy she brought into our lives. She may no longer be physically present, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her kindness. Jennie's tireless dedication to the ones she loved and her unwavering generosity serve as an inspiration for us all.

May she find eternal peace in the embrace of heaven, knowing that she has left an indelible mark on this world. Goodbye dear Jennie, your memory will be treasured always.
