Jennie Willis List

Jennie Willis List, 76, of Cornelius, NC, passed away on August 21, 2026.

Known fondly as “Jennie Jo” in her early years, she was born in Logan, WV on April 25, 1950, to the late J. Richard and Jane Willis. She was a pious philanthropist, an adventurous entrepreneur, and a gifted culinary creator. Above all, she was fiercely protective of and deeply dedicated to her children and grandchildren. Although small in stature, she packed a formidable punch—her courage was indomitable and her wisdom carried the quiet weight of generations.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael and James Good; and her three cherished granddaughters, Lindsey, Natalie, and Courtney.

A visitation to celebrate her life and receive friends will be held at her home in Cornelius from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 30.
