Jerold Kevin Heller, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on August 20, 2024 at the age of 63. Born on September 6, 1960, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Kevin lived a life marked by dedication, skill, and affection for his family.

A man of many talents, Kevin enjoyed a varied career as a mechanic and former chef. Known by friends and family as a “Mr. Fix-It,” he approached both his work and life with a practical mindset and an unwavering commitment to excellence. His culinary skills brought joy to countless meals shared with loved ones, showcasing not only his talent but his desire to nurture those around him.

Kevin proudly served in the Air Force, demonstrating his sense of duty and commitment to his country. After returning from his service, he developed a passion for hobbies that included target shooting and swimming. He could often be found enjoying a swim in the pool almost every day, reflecting his love for water and the active lifestyle he embraced.  Kevin was very dedicated to the Lord and a devoted 7th Day Adventist.

His legacy lives on through his devoted wife of 43 years, Gloria Aguilar Heller, who stood by his side with unwavering support throughout their lives together. Kevin is also survived by his loving daughters, Tonya and Rachel Heller, who carry forward his spirit of determination and compassion. He found immense joy in his role as a grandfather to four grandchildren: Isaiah Heller, Elijah Plummer, Scion Twyman, and Kyrie Twyman. Their laughter and smiles would light up his days, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Kevin’s family bonds extended to his brother, Jason Heller, and his nephews, Connor Dane Heller and Jake Cole Heller, who all held a special place in his heart. The memories created together will be treasures that they carry throughout their lives.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Kent Heller, whose memory remains cherished within the family.

Kevin Heller’s kindness, skills, and passion for life left a lasting impression on those who knew him. He will be profoundly missed and remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of calling him family and friend.
