Jerome Whitney Rodgers, Jr.

Jerome W. Rodgers Jr., 68, of Denver, NC, passed away February 24, 2020.

Jerry was born on January 19, 1952 in Charlotte, NC to Jerome Whitney Rodgers, Sr. and Carol Dellinger Rodgers.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Rodgers, of Denver, NC; daughter, Sheri Rodgers; son, Jason Rodgers and his wife, Sarah; grandchildren, Adam & Allie; mother, Carol Rodgers; sisters, Patricia Rodgers, and Diane Cline and her husband Gene.

Jerry was a retired pastor, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.  His favorite thing to do was spend time with his family, and he took great delight in time spent with his beloved grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Westport Baptist Church, Denver.  Funeral services will follow immediately at 3:00 p.m., also at the church.  Interment will follow at Westport Baptist Church Cemetery.
