Joan Marie Silver Tapia, 79, of Cornelius, NC died September 28, 2013 at her residence. Born August 14, 1934 in Duree, PA she was a daughter of the late Peter and Thelma Silver. A Funeral Mass will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 2, 2013 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Mooresville, NC She is survived by her husband, Anthony Tapia; son, Anthony James Tapia; daughters, Linda Van Rensalier and Debra Arteaga and husband Octavio Arteaga; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huntersville, NC is assisting the family. Friends may offer condolences to the family at www.raymerfh.com
