John Vance Wilson

John Vance Wilson, 65, of Huntersville, NC died Wednesday August 12, 2015 at his residence. Born May 28, 1950 in Washington DC he was a son of the late James Parks Wilson and Elizabeth Vance Wilson. John was a diehard Tarheels fan, loved to visit Cades Cove in the Smokey Mountain, TN and was currently enjoying retiring Memorial services will be conducted Sunday August 16, 2015 at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Suzanne Purser Wilson; daughter, Dinah Wilson Swift and son-in-law, Billy; best friends, Fred Jones and Buddy Simon.
