Joyce McElreath Reid

Joyce M. Reid went to be with the Lord October 20, 2020.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Reid; daughters, Melonee Reid Brock and Natalie Reid Cauble; grandchildren, Andrew Ross and wife Leah Thomas Ross,  Charles Derek Brock, Taylor Marie Brock and her husband Edward Hutto, and  Anna Marie Cauble; great-grandchildren, Coraline, McKenzie, Lucas and Anna; brother, Lewis B. McElreath and wife Luck McElreath; niece, Samantha and her husband Eric Powell, their children Matthew, Jackson, Timothy and Ben; nephew, Paul McElreath and wife Kristen, and their daughter, Katelyn Shiring.

Joyce was a multitasker, multitalented and an exceptional organizer.  She was a seamstress, an artist and taught quilting.  She received multiple awards for her creations.  She was a true southern belle with strong patriotic feelings for her country, a fierce defender for her family but most of all, a loving wife to her husband.  He was the center of her world.

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-3:00pm, Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville.  Funeral services will be held in the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home chapel at 3:00pm immediately following the visitation.
