June Sink Rummage

June Rummage (87) of Huntersville N.C. died on November 23, 2018, at Huntersville Medical Center.  She was born on December 2, 1930, in Mooresville, NC.  She was the daughter of Joe Gentle Sink, Sr. and Georgia Nance Sink. 

June was proceeded in death by her husband John W. Rummage, Sr.; an infant son David Luther Rummage as well as her beloved brothers Henry Thales Sink and Joe Gentle Sink.  She is survived by her son John W. Rummage, Jr. and his wife, Geri Wright; grandson Joseph Michael Rummage; granddaughter Robin Nicole Rowan; great-granddaughter Bristol Renee Rowan and sisters-in-law Lou Sink and Dodie Sink. 

June graduated from Mooresville Central High School and a secretarial course at Lenoir-Rhyne College.  She was a secretary for her entire career while also being a homemaker and family matriarch.  She adored her family both immediate and extended, her pets, the beach, and reading. 

Her service will at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home on Saturday, December 1st at 11AM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Huntersville United Methodist Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
